Experience About Writing An Examination Without Preparation |
Writing My Examination The clock struck nine And a chill ran down the spine Eyes ran through the pages As the brightness of faces faded Tension mounted in the air And the hands trembled with fear Necks stretched to the veranda To get a glimpse of the Medusa Her steps seemed slow and steady But nobody was ready She entered into the room To send out the doom The question paper was distributed Before we all were seated The board read – “all the best” Mocking at our sentence of death The black print on white paper Were the black marks for the future The questions were total strangers But friendly answers were always there Eyes slipped left and right As examiners moved right and left The slight glimpses of answer sheets Came in as instant relief. Hands slipped down the pockets To pull out letters of life The examiner ogled at the actions But never doubted with a bit of suspicion Practice makes a man perfect Still you can become the target Risky but adventurous you say Until you get caught one day I heard say SOS Before I could say SOS Seeking help was in vain Under the nose of the demon Eyes wandered round the room And mind wandered round the world Time seemed stagnated and stuck Until the final bell was set The final words were scribbled in haste Much to the teacher’s disgrace The answer sheets were snatched As villain played the final part Prayers started to fill the room To counter the scare of gloom Friend told “not this time” “there is always the next time” *NOTE : SOS = Save Our Souls |
