A modern poets attempt at a classic love poem. (p.s. not at all in french, though) |
beauteous, heavenly creature that stalks my dreams a blind love that sees not just heavenly face or heavenly shape, but heavenly soul and heavenly love brilliance of your eyes, into which a man could drown in soft delight of a silken presence or fresh awakening of a wondrous edge free a heart wanders when it harbours such love like the eagle, it soars in majestic flight in awe at the magnificence of that lifting it high splendor seeps through every inch, a regal air of summer or springs majestic dance of vibrance and loves delight, or dancing light from crystal thrown the sweetest delicacy or richest dessert a sweet drug of wondrous feeling that flows and rejuvenates a waning heart an ache of longing, such love conveys, when loves labour is lost ‘til ist returns, and a bond is shared by harboured feelings of kinds a prayer answered, an angel of eros an emotive epiphany thrown into meaningless life and injecting purpose with a passionate love like gliding through the clear, dark, ether above with emotions as my wings and fire as my guide with which through all and naught will find a path for two to cross and join and escape in the shadow of true loves embrace. |
