Another poem by KM Shoremount
All you know is what you have
Here’s a ticket out of this town
Head to the stars and don’t look back
Get out
Get down
Get to the moon

They want you to fall
The world is against you
Hear the good life calling
Walk tall and walk fast
Friends and foes bedeck alike

Coast to the coast
Grow in your mind
But forget those you left behind
Stab in the back
Write out the check
Live alone to get to the sky

Lose yourself, and find an else
Mankind will grasp you better
Of all the types you could’ve become
You grew to be a stranger

But you’ve won
You’re at the top

Oh it feels cold
All alone
Your riches are cover enough
Freeze to the Monty state of life
You’ve forgotten the feeling of touch

Death is a lonely condition
So why not get there unaided
You’re leaving humanity
Empty as you came
Live it up while you can make it

Such is our approach
Such is our decree
When you live life by the paycheck
You leave your legacy
