Love is a card game, winners and losers. It all depends on who's got the winning card.
Shuffle

It's the end of my rope,
No turning back,
I'm using all of the tricks,
Up my sleeves, bag and hat,

I'm not losing again,
Not the same way,
This is the last chance I've got,
To realize my dream.

Deal

The game's lasted two years,
This'll be the last round,
Three players remain,
A cipher, the girl and me.

The cards are dealt out,
Three hands, five cards,
The round's finally started,
Cards in hand, I look at them hard.

Draw + Bet

It's a last chance gambit,
I need just one card,
She starts the bet with two tickets
So I meet and Raise

One card leaves my hand,
Top card leaves the deck,
The card is a key unlocking a door
A door I won't find until the end,

Closing Bet and Call

Two years of love and pain,
Hanging on a card,
This last hand is my last chance,
Too much at stake to fold.

The cards hit the table,
Ciphers first, then Hers,
Pressure pins my one card facedown,
And I play my hand.

10 of Hearts

Jack of Hearts

Queen of Hearts

King of Hearts

Eyes closed I touch the last card,
Please god...
