This is a poem about a shadow, kind of Edgar Allen Poe style.
A shadow entered
feeling a presence
I turned around
speaking loudly, but hesitant
"Why must I die,
do you want me in the ground?"
the shadow came out,
but did not say a word

I began to sweat
my chest began to hurt
blood dripped from the walls
blood dripped from my shirt
I started to get lightheaded
I was going to die
the fear I most dreaded
for this I won't lie

Knife in my pocket
I had droopily thrusted
the shadow collapsed
the shadow had died,
but it wasn't a shadow
it was my wife
the one I most loved
who lost her life

I collapsed in to a chair
now in solitary confinement
alone I stare
