Time disappears so fast when you don't pay attention.
I have always heard the expression "Time flies" but I didn't really think anything of it until I had kids. They grow up so fast that you don't know where the time goes. When my firstborn was born I had to continue to work so she came everywhere with me. I was forunate to be able to take her with me to work. I remember counting the weeks as they went by and at the time they didn't really seem to be going that fast. I was always busy but I was able to watch my daughter grow. But now she is almost 4 and is going to school this year and I don't know where the time went. When my son was born I was able to take time off work and spend a year at home with him. The months just flew by and before I knew it I was going back to work.

I look at my kids and see how big they are getting and I am scared that I'm going to wake up one day and they will be going to high school and driving.

I always hear people who give advice say that you should always make time for your kids. I wholeheartly agree with that. But sometimes I wonder if its enough. Time still flies. I have my pictures of them at every step in their lives so far and I will continue to take pictures of anything and everything. I guess that is all I can do so that I don't forget anything.

My biggest fear one day is that I'm going to wake up and forget what my daughter looks like when she started walking or how my son liked his first time playing in the snow.
