Never Leave Me Do what I can to live my life for you, though at times I may fall short and stumble from my path. It doesn’t matter if I fall or near for you have always promised that you will..... Never leave me nor forsake me for you are my shepherd, My God Times have come and times have gone when I needed you there by my side to lead me and guide me I need you to guide me down the right path toward you, Oh Lord If I happen to stray from that path I know it will all be ok because of that promise you made so long ago . . . To never leave me nor forsake me for you are my God. Never leave me nor forsake me for you are my God . . . *Hebrews 13:5 Fight the Battle Long ago a war was created, a war that is still on going, though it isn’t between countries but between Good and Evil Evil, as we know, has the desire to eliminate all that is good How can we begin to fight off all this evil? How can we alone help Good win? It is said that the shield of faith can extinguish the flaming arrows of evil, Once we have the helmet of Salvation and the sword of Spirit we are protected with good. The battle is one we cannot see yet we are a part of it. Evil wants to control us and good wants to save us. We can win, with the strength of God as well as dependence on the Word and God through prayer Take up the armor and help Good win the war. *Ephesians 6: 16-17 Seeking You I come to you with all my fears and worries, I call upon you for strength and guidance. I pray and ask that your will be done for any situation that may arise Whenever I call upon you and come, I pray in your name; You are always there to listen and grant comfort for me All I wish is to seek after you and your glory, I seek you with all my heart and I have found you You are my strength, my comfort all I ever need when times get rough and I feel I cannot go on. You reach out and embrace me and hold me in your arms telling me that you love me and always will My life is dedicated to you and each day I live I will seek after you more and more. *Jeremiah 29:12-13 |
