Just a poem about the boyfriend I do have, as of 11-17-04 :)
He watches over me,
Though he isn’t very tall.
He’s not that fast,
But he still catches me when I fall.

He’s not that strong,
But he defends me anyway.
He isn’t especially brave,
But he keeps my fears at bay.

He’s not a genius,
But he helps me figure things out.
He’s no janitor,
But he sweeps away my doubt.

He may not be gorgeous,
But he’s good enough for me.
He’s my fallen angel
And as sweet as can be.

When he stumbles in the hall,
And people begin to snicker,
He just gets up and walks away,
Not wanting to bicker.

When he feels threatened,
He just turns the other cheek.
He’s the strongest person I know,
Though others call him weak.

Whenever I’m feeling down,
He’s there to make me laugh.
He always makes me feel
Like a million and a half.

He’s not prince charming,
But I could care less.
He’s my fallen angel,
I love him, I confess.

He can’t keep track of time,
But there was always time for me.
And while others wanted to be paid,
He hasn’t asked for a fee.

He’s not a knight,
But he treats me like a queen.
And though he’s not sturdy,
He’s like a wall on which I lean.

He’s not too good at math,
But he knows one plus one equals two.
He’s not an English professor,
But he knows how to say ‘I love you’.

He isn’t perfect,
But he tries so hard.
He’s my fallen angel,
My teacher , my boyfriend, my guard.
