Fear

You sleep,
You dream,
You wake,
You cry
And in the sheets
Of clouds you lie.

Rivers flowing,
Long and wide.
Can’t forget the
Tears you cried.

In your world,
The pain your voice.
The heart,
The soul,
In light, it grows.

Staring from the darkness,
In the mirror,
Your reflection,
Your likeness.

From the eyes,
The fear arise,
Your heart goes small
In size.

Your eyes seeing,
Every demon,
Every being.
A voice declared;
‘I am fear thus
Be Prepared!’

And then in the dark,
Your eyes open and
See the light.
No more fear to
Your delight.
