Another poem that I wrote as a teen
Dance

Everything is still until music blares sending feet tapping and souls flying
Excited bending bodies twirl and leap into the air in sprite-like movements,
landing on quick sure platforms
The beat grows quicker, bodies move faster until the flying souls and bodies unite
and become as one in a blur
Then souls are set free once again and everything is still
