Rainbows are very symbolic. For me they mean hope and peace after the turmoil.
Rainbows, spectrum, colours arcing,
Rainbows glistening over water
in the droplets.
Awesome rainbows, power of light,
'Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain'.
Rainbows in my head, rainbows in my heart,
Rainbows in my soul.

Rainbows so bright eyes hurt,
Rainbows of light over darkness,
winning struggle.
Rainbows in song, hear the singing.
Rainbows over graves, death where is thy sting?
Rainbows irridescent, luminous,
Shimmering gone!

Sunbeams and bright rainbows,
Rainbows of sadness, rainbows full of laughter,
Rainbows leaving;
Double rainbow bands like ribbons
trailing across a rain soaked sky.
Rainbows full of meaning, with pots of gold
at the end.

Rainbows that are abstract and arty,
Rainbows disappearing only to reappear
brighter still.
Rainbows magical, replace imagination.
Radiant rainbows symbols of hope,
Spirals rainbowing out of existence,
Unbelievable sight.

The rainbow's finally gone, its beauty stays in my memory
until the next time.
