Unanswered Questions

Years of happiness and sadness few,
Which increased because of you.

Lovely were the days,
And you made them lovelier in so many ways.

Happiness and sadness we shared,
And for each other so much we cared.

Destiny brought us together,
And destiny separated us from one another.

A simple fight lighted up the fire,
Which spread beyond our desire.

Some faults were yours and some mine,
We sure did try to mend but everything went wrong and nothing was fine.

Distance between us grew and grew,
With an unanswered question, whether it was because of me or you.

The hole in my heart cannot be mend,
Because it’s too late and everything between us has come to an end.
