Urbane?” screamed Janice. “I’ll be urbane!”

Gordon cringed as the chocolate pudding slid down the freshly-spackled drywall. “Easy, hon. We’ll never finish if you keep that up!”

“Next time, don’t duck,” she replied.

He stooped to pick up the bowl.

“Just leave it,” she said. “They won’t know the difference.”

Just then, Darla Newkirk walked through the door. “Janice! Welcome to the tour!”

“Thanks, Darla. How are you?” Janice accepted kisses on her cheeks.

“Peachy, Love, just peachy… Ooh! Tell me about this one!” Darla approached the sticky brown mess, enthralled.

“That,” smiled Janice, “is called Perfect Timing.”
