A poem about life and what will happen and how to deal with it--metaphorical
THE JUMP

Enter the ring and salute the judges,
circle and break into a canter.
Turn to the first fence, lean forward YOU'RE CLEAR!
Listen to the crowd, listen to the banter.
Look to the next fence,
take it just the same,
reach out real far,
grab plenty of mane.
He hits the ground hard,
You can't stop at all.
You realize immediately,
you're going to fall.
The fall seems an eternity,
but you will hit the ground.
And when you do, you must get up
and ride another round.
