The Superhero - H.O.P.E.

New super heroes emerge from the waste and wanton lands of the earth
A new tide waves ashore the bounty from the depth of the seas
No mere mortal beings can battle the global tribulations
That are scattering the life forces of mankind

The gods of Egypt, Greece and Rome return with a vengeance
To restore the morals of a corrupted global society
The New Time is now
To unearth the Red Crown of kings on an decaying, immoral world sphere

Here lays those created in fantasy by fiction
From Superman to X-Men, Catwoman to Spiderman
The Incredibles to the Punisher
The Green Hornet and Wonder Women, too

Ghost Rider, Hellboy, and Daredevil
While the Fantastic Four are green with envy of the Hulk
Batman lures Elektra to Blade
And John Constantine plans to Shadow them all

The ancient organic saviors arrive
To reseed the earth with a new race of mankind
The planet is restored and her infectious human occupants
Are the fertilizers for the rebirth of new life

History is recorded from the victor’s point of view
The New World machines replace the stone temple carvings
Binary code is now the key that once was the Rosetta stone
The Machines are now the Superheroes of the New World

And all humanoid life recreated as the machines servants
Without emotion or private agendas
The Central Processing Units
Bore the names of the gods

Life begins renewed, from the loins of long absent gods
And just as it was in the beginning
Men and women shall cover the earth
And like the ancient scribes, Data Entry personnel record the beginning

Starting in the middle of time, a new age created, eons after the Age of Pyramids
Stem cells linked genetic memory to DNA
And once the lessons of preservation and conservation are imbedded
The gods will leave us once again

The new Superhero of the Planet Earth
Is born of its people’s imagination
Unending creativity, and the lust for life
H.O.P.E is born on the wings of destruction

H.O.P.E is the acronym for “Hope Our People Evolve”
