The Council of Many

A leader on earth was not made to lead indefinitely. For even the greatest will one day pass away, and his following will crumble.

But a Council of many is made strong by its many diverse parts. The loss of one does not destroy the whole but it regenerates when a new member is chosen to make the council once again complete.

However, evil individuals make a corrupt body, and lazy members make it ineffective.
The standards are exceptional, the roles to fill distinct, and the goal yet to be determined.
