A poem speaking of a love lost
Lost
Part a way in the clouds for me to escape
Let me go; rid of the pain; let me fall
I don’t need to go up; down is better
For me
Letting me go, is letting you be free
Let me go so you can fly
Spread your
wings and pass me by
Promise me you will
learn to fly; don’t forget the things I tried
Break my curse; let this love-lost die
It’s a knot I’ve double-tied
Not to be unraveled
Not meant to be undone
Don’t let it come undone with
time
Keep it tight; don’t let it go
Leave it a knot, and let your strong
wings grow
