PENNY GUINS

Funny birds are penguins
with wings that cannot fly
through air
but did I mention
fly they dare
when not dry

but under water with the seastar
and the horse that cannot gallop
on the sand,
but float around bizarre
without a brand
with the sea scallop?

on land
but under water sessions
off the strand,
their far-out feet can rock!
