About loving someone who hurts you but can't shut out. I admit it needs work...
Somedays it's really hard
because I just want to be normal

carefree
not so different

and it never stops hurting
it never goes away

the knowledge
that no one really sees me

and that my own mother
can not love me
she leaves every chance she can get

stomps on my heart
time and time again

and even then... I still welcome her back
I hand her the knife she wields against me
