Vote for me

Written for the Writer’s Cramp… (When I read this outloud to myself, as I am the only one that listens to my musing here... I say it kind of sing-songee. Well that is how I hear it...just in case anyone else is remotely interested)

Vote for ME

Vote for me and I will set you free
The State of the Union presently has some problems that all can clearly see
And I ask you to vote for me so that I can set us free

Free from the strife that has put us all in such an international bad light
Free to be free from other people’s fights
That is not to say that we can’t help them with their plight
We can send medicine, clothing, food and water to drink to shore up their might
I just won’t send our sons and daughters there to die in their fight

That is why I ask you to vote for me
To stop this madness is my plea
To send a message to the Union from you and me

We need to be free to vote; the Electoral College does not represent you and me
Vote for whom ever you think that can put an end to this global political pig in a poke
So when you go to the polls, don’t take my words as a joke
I am willing to succeed from a Union that does not uphold our original Constitution
That is just one more reason to vote for me

Vote for me so that we can be set free
Free to develop other resources other than oil to fuel our cars and factories
Better to send our sons and daughters to college to discover these wonders
That is why you should vote for me

Our ancestors were sent here from other places over there
And they fought and died that we might be free
Damn this current government of willful, rich, greedy, and powerful leaders,
They have used lies and misinformation on their quest for global intimidations
Power to the people can start right here in Pennsylvania with a vote for me

These are just some of the reasons why I ask you to vote for me
The State of the Union has some problems we can all clearly see
A vote for me will be a vote to set us all free
