Smiling eyes,
Cry,
Telling tales that never die,
Stories lost upon the young,
Heroes songs never sung,

White lights,
Blind,
Shinning things that are easy to find,
Objects useless to the dead,
Hunger pangs that hit the fed,

Puckered lips,
Kiss,
Souls who they'd never miss,
Actions guided by loneliness,
Souls crying out in distress,

Sweet sounds,
Echo,
Going places you'd never go,
Forgotten words of long before,
Feelings that we now ignore,

Wrinkled foreheads,
Sweat,
Imagining treasure they've yet to get,
Feeling as it is their turn,
Feelings that they've yet to earn.
