Turning 18 isn't the answer to all problems.
Gabriel had been 18 for only three weeks when he found his personal possessions on the front porch of his parents' house. We drove by in the dark, and I saw several boxes piled together making a rather small puramid, considering..

They were in the same place his older sister's things had been put when she had been put out of the house a few weeks before. I just really don't understand the emotional relationship these two people seem to have for their kids. There are five children in the step family. I know having only Gabriel's point of view leaves me near blind in some situations. But I understand that part, because I'm bipolar too.
