Searching

Clouds block the way,
obscure the view,
of the shining stars,
oh so bright.

The stars far away;
my only contact with you,
I feel instantly warm
just looking- wondering what could be.

The bright glow,
the radiant shine,
winking at me,
telling me everything will be fine.

The moon in it's celestial glow,
hanging by a thread,
a smiling, beautiful face
to bring me through.

Maybe it's my imagination;
but I swear the stars shine brighter
and the moon grins wider
when I search for you.
