Left Alone in the Darkness

Left alone in the darkness, wondering if the light will ever shine through.
For the second time you’ve left me alone.
Will I make it out of the darkness alone,
Or will you come back and guide me through?
It’s the decision I have to make do,
One of the hardest to go through.
Lost and can’t find the path in the dark,
Once again left, only this time apart.
Sitting here, not knowing where this new path will leave me,
But I’m on my own now,
Deep in the dark.
