Enjoy a fun bedtime poem!
Every night when the sun goes down, the stars come out to play.
They dance across the cool night sky and sparkle until day.
They twinkle, wink; they twirl, they spin. They have the greastest time.
They’re happy just to be awake and how their spirits climb.

But when the moon calls out their names, the real night fun begins.
The man in the moon speeds past the stars and gives a sporty grin.
The race is won or so he thinks but someone joins the chase-
A shooting star streaks past the moon to win the heavenly race.

The planets wander ‘round the sky, appearing here and there.
Their evening jaunts are loads of fun that take them everywhere.
Then when you think that all is calm, a comet swings close by.
His friendly visit’s just too short and soon he leaves the sky.

But early in the morning, when the sun begins to shine,
All the children slowly wake for daylight is their sign
To run and jump and race and play until the day is done.
And then the stars are sent to bed to rest from their night’s fun.
