Heaven and hell

What is heaven?
 A place were we lie around and have all our
wants whipe away by another's hand? Where we
but think of what we would like and just like
that it is given to us? No cares, no worries, no
problems to face.

Or is that Hell?
 A place were no one needs us to do, say, or be
anything. Where we do not earn what we get.
Nothing to show for our accomplishments.
No spice, no life, no adventure to share.

Who are Angels?
 Are they winged beings who sit on clouds,
harps in hand, and fill the air with heavenly
music? Or do they live among us? To share our
pain and enhance our joy. Do they bleed for us,
cry for us, and even die for us?

Who are Demons?
 Little red half goat creatures with horns on
their heads, sporting a forked tail on the rear.
Or do they live here in disguise? Playing upon
our weaknesses. Drawing us closer to a painful
ending. Laughing as they exploit our own fears.

When they say 'Heaven on Earth' do they mean
that's all of heaven we're meant to see? Or that
when the two become one the Pearly gates almost
everyone has longed to see will open for all to enter.

But if that's the case, can hell be obtained in
much the same way? Was that what some people
always intended? To destroy any
chance at redemption?

Are heaven and hell just of our own making? Who
can say. But it's only human to wonder
