My Definition of Wealth

There was a man who spent his life sailing out on the ocean.
Everyday he casts his nets to feed his family.
It's enough for him to live with a few dimes in his pocket.
And every morning he will kiss his kids then...
Walk to the shore through the town, his whole life he's lived.
And every time he looks into the eyes of his wife he falls in love again.
Like the first day he met her.

My definition of wealth.........
He's a very rich man.

Across the world there's a man who takes the train into town.
Everyday he works so hard to pay for his possessions.
He tries in vain to fill the empty void in his heart, With a heavy,heavy wallet.
In the morning he wakes up alone, from the bedroom of his lonely home.
and every time he looks into the eyes staring back, all alone, from his penthouse bathroom mirror.


My definition of wealth.........
He's a very poor man.


Money makes a life seem right when there are pieces missing.
But love and how you're loved is what makes a difference to me.
It's not enough to have all the toys when only you can play with them.
Love is what makes things turn out right.
Happiness is not the cure for everything....
but it's the medicine.
