When I met my first college crush while I help my sister move to college.
The College Boy

Finally, the day came, Ronecca, my sister, was moving out of the house and into a college dorm room where she would stay most of the time and come home only on occasion. Finally the house would be mine! Of course I had to go help her move out first. What a better thrill than to get my one and only sibling out of the house.
Considering I would be spending the day at college, I knew many guys, especially cute guys, would be there helping their older siblings move in or even moving in themselves. This helped me decide to pick out clothes I thought made me look older and also do my hair and make-up so I‘d look more mature. The last thing I wanted to do was look like an eighth grader.
As we drove up to the dorm rooms of her college, I felt almost as excited to get rid of my sister as she was to move out. We parked in the closest parking place that we could find and all quickly jumped out of the van to grab her possessions and take them up to her new home.
My first load was an extremely heavy box filled with clothes, books, dishes, and pretty much everything but the kitchen sink. No way was I going to take the stairs with that great armload of stuff, so I took the elevator.
When I got to the top floor, I found my sister’s room and placed the humongous box in the very middle of the floor. Then I walked out of her room, down the hallway, and down the stairs to go grab another load.
On my way down I saw a guy. 5 foot 10 inches tall, brown hair, brown eyes, muscular, and one of the most exceedingly handsome guys I‘d ever seen in my life.
“Wow! Look at that completely gorgeous guy.” I thought quietly to myself as I carefully drug a big box to the edge of the car so I could move it upstairs. Out of the corner of my eye I could see him moving towards me.
Practically squealing with delight, though trying to hide it, I glanced his way and saw his lovely eyes meet mine. Then I noticed his magnificent smile so I smiled back. Deciding that he was probably too old for me, I looked down to make sure that I wasn’t going to drop the box I was about ready to pick up. Yet, he continued coming towards me until he next thing I knew, standing right next to me was his stunning figure, watching my every move.
“Do you need any help?” his deep voice sent a chill down my spine as I raised my eyes to meet his.
“Yeah, that would be great. You can grab the TV if you want.” I watched, smiling as his muscular arms carefully picked up the TV.
“So, where are you staying?” he asked as we started to walk, taking Ronecca’s stuff to her room.
Trying to act as cool as I could, I smiled, tossing my hair a little and declared calmly, “I’m staying at my house. It’s in Aurora.”
“Oh, so you go here?” He answered quickly, grinning from ear to ear as we walked in carrying the complete armloads.
Shrugging, I unwillingly stated, “No, I’m only in eighth grade.”
At that, his smile went from flirtatious to sheepish in two seconds flat. “Oh, I thought that since you were moving stuff into a dorm room, you went here.”
“Nope, I’m helping my sister, Ronecca, move in,” I muttered, feeling bad about leading this extremely hot guy astray. “I won’t be here for another five years.”
We finally got up to Ronecca’s room and put her stuff down when he quickly blurted, “Well, it was nice talking to you,” and walked out the door without even giving me a chance to answer him. He just left me there in my sister’s room, feeling proud that he thought I looked like a college student.
As I stood proudly smiling, Ronecca and mom came into the room. “What are you smiling so much about?” Ronecca asked me, giving me a strange ‘what did you do to my stuff’ look.
“Oh, nothing,” I stated as I walked out of the room to get more stuff to bring up.
