FRIENDLY FOREST

Crimson skies create a red wine haze,
Night birds fly in a divine airy daze;

Nocturnal beings and the underworld unfold,
Creature's of the dark let their story be told;

Owl's, mice, and bat's all begin to dwell,
The bull frog's throat grows to a swell;

The coyote and the fox say hi with a howl,
Mr. black bear makes his entrance with a growl;

The fireflies' chat aloud with the crickets,
As small snakes and lizards lay in the thickets;

Monkeys and apes dangle from the trees,
Smiling hyena's are laughing in the breeze;

Sand crabs nip and snap at a silvery moon,
As oysters and clams feel hide tide coming soon;

One and each are such a lovely creature,
Never have I enjoyed such a beautiful feature!
