Early morning greeting
by an eager golden sun.
Busy moments fleeting;
breakfast dishes quickly done.
Kids smoothly off to school
and hubby gently off to work.
Midday lounging at the pool;
an afternoon without quirks
filled with silence on cool breeze.
Returning hubby shares deep kiss;
returning kids give mom a squeeze.
She prays the night goes on like this
as placid as her day,

and soft in every way--
