1/2 cup whole wheat flour
4 cups water
2 TB. soy sauce
* Place oil in heavy skillet. Add flour. Heat
slowly while mixing throughly. Stir constantly
until brown and aromatic. Add 1 cup water and
whisk into a paste. Add remaining water. Turn
flame up to medium high. Cook until thick. Add
soy sauce. Remove from flame.
** I have found that I needed to use more
flour than what this recipe called for.
