She busied herself in the garden,
Tending her plants with care,
She brought forth all the colours,
Showing her natural flair.
She laboured on them for hours,
All the while singing a song,
She worked and toiled amongst them.
Till all the weeds they were gone.
Now she's a garden of colour,
Of hues red white and blue,
A gift to God for the caring,
Where it's peaceful and restful too.
And even in winter I'll stay there,
'Cos there's life in her garden you see,
Why there's a rose that blooms in the corner,
All through the snow just for me.
