The Greek god Hermes warns Odysseus.

A poem by Hermes.

To my friend, Odysseus.

He tells me I'm the best
god, because I help.
Though I confess,
I'm forced to hear his yelps.

My best friend
holds my hand.
A child looking for a good end,
even if that's canned.

Sweet Odysseus,
you're too innocent!
Your hair is the color spadiceous,
and your brain underneath is an implement.

But it does not cover up
your childish loyalty.
For your face looks like a pup
when someone mentions Penelope.

Though her beauty is unparalleled
I recommend you snap out of this.
Otherwise, you'll be disassembled
before seeing the person you miss.
