Post-Apocolyptic Thriller

Apocolypse with creatures and a girl and boy.

Chapter 1:

One cold winter morning of December 18, 1989, a girl named Autumn wakes up from her slumber. She notices her boyfriend, Nathan, isn't in bed. She gets up out of bed and heads to the bathroom. After she was finished she washes her hands and goes out to the kitchen. As Autumn was walking to the kitchen she notices that Nathan's hunting rifle is missing.
Autumn gets a bowl, spoon, frying pan, spatula, milk, and plate. She goes to the fridge to grab the milk and eggs, but notices they are out of eggs. She throws on her coat and boots and grabs the egg basket. Their chicken pen is out back behind their tiny cabin that is deep in the forest, in the middle of nowhere. The nearest town of civilization is two hours away, in West Water Lake.
