The River

As The River creates.
Moving in syllables,
Splashing in a rhythm.
Across our moving thoughts,
with a special fathom.

AS The River creates,
Garth Brooks in The River,
Beauty, a song of life,
Sailing his sound vessel.
Empty our day of strife.

As The River creates,
Bruce Springsteen, dives down deep.
He warns, water flows swift.
Rip currents make trouble.
Rivers cause deadwood drift.

As The River creates.

An alligator fun time.
Green strolling monster walk.
