The sky

The sky

The sky is vast and blue
The clouds white and fluffy
But what lies beyond the sky?
A vast land that’s home to elves, fairies, and mermaids?
A place where only dreamers can access?
A place where everyone can be free?
Only those who have been beyond the sky can tell us.
But, one thing’s for certain:
Those who go beyond, never come home.
I’d like to go beyond the sky, sometime.
Just to see what it holds.
