The tooth fairy comes for the wisdom teeth and adult extractions
I was 17, and had a wisdom tooth impacted
The socket got dry when the tooth was extracted.

I was 31, and my second molar came
Out with some laughing gas and Novocain.

Now I’m 44, haven’t lost teeth in years-
I finally heeded the tooth fairy’s fear.

Mighty Molar Mallory is a pleasant fairy guy,
But tooth decay can make him cry

He leaves a dime when you’re six or eight,
But forget to floss and you’ll earn his hate.

He’ll grumble “gingivitis” when his wings start to itch
And in his rumbling, bass cleft pitch

He’ll sing himself to sleep for an extra inning
While I sneak in to get a filling.
