The fears and thoughts on turning twenty
twenty
what a number
twenty dollars
is not much
but its something
twenty friends
now thats alot
twenty years old
dont know where to place it
age is just a number
what a lie
age is everything
its the passing of time
its the future becoming the past
hopes and dreams still just that
and time is running out
fears of never accomplishing
hitting me now
Ive only just turned twenty
people are forty, fifty 98
what about them
I dont think that way
twenty is too much
too big
too old
twenty is terrifying
take me back to 19
help me be who I'm supposed to be
I'll never be anything
my mind feels worn
feels useless
twenty
one day I'll be gone
its coming closer
each birthday has talked to me of doom
twenty screamed it.
