BEAR HEAD is Book 2 of DOGS OF WAR by the illimitable author Adrian Tchaikovsky. Near-future Science Fiction: Earth is heavily in the throes of intensifying Climate Change, including massively rising sea levels. The "powers that be" have planned and organized colonization of Mars, our next to nearest planet, and workers have been prepared with "headware" and biological modifications to be able to work in Mars' thin atmosphere, once Bees (see DOGS OF WAR) prepared the new city's cover.
