Just another rambling mixture of words strung together in rhyme.
I walked a thousand miles just to find some peace and joy
Somehow I ended back at the start, not a man but a boy
Time stood still as my life changed and changed
And all my loves have been and gone, and I am now estranged.

Love will one day return and grow just like a pear in a tree
They tell me to wait and live my life and that seems fair to me
To live a life of hope and glory you first must love yourself
For legend has it that men will cry for a war they fought with stealth

People here today and tomorrow will never fade away
For it's human nature to survive and chase the blues away
The hidden stones in the woman's heart have now been rearanged
But fear not now and fear not then our hearts are on the mend.

You wonder what I'm trying to say in this little poem
You can probably tell I ramble on like a tramp on a bench his home
And if you ever walk alone through life, through dreams alike
Remember you are worth the gold that God sends in his light.
