Giving thanks for my early sobriety and requesting guidance for healing self and others |
I am grateful for the gift I receive when I show up for myself in recovery. Thank You for the courage to attend meetings, to step outside of myself, and to connect with others, even when it feels uncomfortable. Help me remember that my worth is not tied to anyone’s approval but to my willingness to grow. I thank You for Chantel, for her dedication to understanding my addiction and the pain it has caused. Her anger and mistrust are reminders of the hurt I’ve caused, and I ask for Your guidance as I work to repair what’s broken. I wish for her peace of mind and healing, and I pray that she finds comfort and strength as we both walk this path. I’m grateful for my folks, for their support in taking me to my appointment and encouraging me to get back on track with CRA. Their belief in me gives me hope to believe in myself. Thank You for another day clean. Each day is a gift and a step toward the person I’m becoming. As I rest tonight, I ask for peaceful sleep and the strength to rise early tomorrow. May I greet the day with proper efforts for my recovery and care for my mental, emotional, physical, and most of all, spiritual health. Amen. |
