A reflection on life's simple joys—plants, cooking, and everyday beauty.
Loving the Everyday Beauty of Life

In this winter, though the snow hasn't fully settled, the warmth of the sun continues to shine brightly. The plants at home, neglected due to daily distractions, had withered, leaving me with a faint sense of melancholy. Yet, I gathered a few plants from friends, replanted them, and nurtured them with care, hoping they'd thrive.
One morning, I noticed the plants drooping and watered them once more, feeling content as the clear water soaked into the soil.
Soon, heavy snow was forecast. Curious about the meaning of the season, I looked it up. "Great Snow" signifies a time when the snowfall is heavy and widespread, but in my city, the snow was more symbolic, a light dusting. Nevertheless, the weather had become bitterly cold.
I love walking in light, drifting snow. The soft flakes settle everywhere, cooling my hands as I catch them. They melt quickly, turning into small drops of water, yet the peaceful stillness remains.
The temperature at home is perfect, warm and cozy, so I spent time cooking a delicious meal--nutritious and flavorful. Cooking has always been a passion of mine, a place where I pour my love for my family.
When my friend asked for sushi, I readily made it--simple yet satisfying. The preparation of fresh ingredients, the sizzling beef sauce, the art of rolling and slicing sushi into perfect rounds--it all felt like an expression of love and creativity.
Every meal I prepare is made with care, a gesture of love for those I cherish.
I adore my family, my warm home, and the simple joys of everyday life.
In the afternoon, a friend sent me a message: "Great Snow has arrived. May this winter bring you warmth and good days. May winter be peaceful, troubles be buried under the snow, and luck always be by your side."
