Should you love your partner like there is no tomorrow?
Some say to love like there’s no tomorrow,
But I don’t agree with that thought at all,
While time is something we cannot borrow,
I’ll love you like end times will never call.

I’m not used to the love you give to me,
In all its muchness and intense burning,
All the simple moments you share with me,
Each thing about me you’re gladly learning.

I’ve never been loved properly before,
And sometimes our love still feels like a dream,
You have me craving to see more and more,
Wanting to bask in our love’s brilliant gleam.

I see what I’ve put up with in my past,
And see none of it in how you treat me,
All the time we share is truly a blast,
And as peaceful as we want life to be.

Your sweet words melt me as much as your touch,
Enough to stir my spirit wide awake,
And while to you it might not seem like much,
My gratitude is something I won’t fake.

I promise to love you without an end,
Today and then even more tomorrow,
And all the tomorrows that life will send,
Then throughout many lifetimes in a row.
