WHAT DO YOU DO?

What do you do
With a burdened heart?

Do you withdraw
Or become confrontational?

Do you question
Whether you are dreaming or realize it’s real?

Are you afraid like me? Of rejection?
That it’s just a simple dream?

Do you realize you’ve fallen into a trap
Of hope and prayer?

How blaise. Predictible. Fool.
Why would God give you a happy ending?
