It's why he chose me. A story in verse, using a poetic form called Diminished Hexaverse.
She brought him cheap love:
fake leather and tattered lace,
empty orgasms and hollow kisses
with an ice-cold embrace;
a bed with no passion.

She brought him angst,
turmoil, and chaos unending.
Voices raised in anger,
words that cut bone.

But he loved
me because I
brought him the

one thing
that mattered:

peace.
