mass hysteria, cultism, foods consumed controlling the nature of a culture

An obvious epiphany?

This morning I ran across a video and had a revelation, one I should have thought of before.

The bulk of Trump followers I've observed in the media appear remarkably homogenous, meeting all 12 of the criteria for ignorance outlined in the video below (see link). But how could there be such a mass of humanity in one country with this same condition?

We talk about mass hysteria, cultism, etc. but, could it be something else? Are the MAGA hats all inadvertantly consuming ergot, the mind bending mold that can sometimes be found on moldy bread? It's unlikely but, could there be something else in their environment leading to their collective ignorance? Are they overdosing on MacDonald's hamburgers? Taking the wrong drugs?

Of one thing we're certain, they've all drunk the Kool-Aid.
