Love the work and the rest is respectfully earned - a ticket for a difficult day - a poem.
Loathing vicious rhetoric,
Modern times beheld;
Folks appear quite sentient,
Trekkies’s latest meld;
Torn by sadness, differences,
Nations’ random pluses.
Governments supplanting youths,
Capping drama cusses.

Strike the iron when it’s hot,
Hammer never misses;
Masks are worn for companies,
Full-time air hole disses.
While the truth does earn applause,
Empty buildings crumble;
Stocks glide toward a bullishness,
Job rates nary tumble.

Living with the door wide open,
Yellow, black, and brown -
Engineered to maintain dollars,
Profits’ save the crown.
Pulling on the horse’s reins,
Every ego’s sure;
Trade a new employment flavor,
Posit strengths so pure.
