An Afternoon on beach

The sun and sand go hand in hand.
The sound of constant waves
With a smell of salt in the air.
The ocean is seen through a haze.

The crowd gel and dance with joy
Along the waves up and down
Keeping all behind to enjoy
To forget all that has letdown

Scattered on the beach
Are castles made of sand.
Some are small and messy
Others big and grand.

An afternoon beach is incomplete
Without gathering the shells from all over
That make one’s experience full and complete
To bring in memories closer
