A Lesson From Nature

With two loving, outstretched arms
says the elder tree, "Grab onto me.
I will feed you and be your support,
our connection will make you strong."
The younger tree, who has no roots,
says, "Thank you, kind elder, I shall do as you say."

Their bond was formed many years ago
and both are still thriving today.
