Thankful.

I am thankful for what I have been through.
Although it is bitter,
It has shaped me into who I am.

I am thankful for the times I was forced to be an adult even though I was a child.
It has taught me to be independent when I need to be.
It has taught me that I must do what I need to,
Even when I really don't want to.

I am thankful for all of the mistakes I have made.
I may never look back on it and be happy about it,
But I will be grateful that I have learned from it.

I am thankful for everything
Even though it may not be what I would've wanted it to be.
